Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Help is needed for a mum of three to replace her broken fridge freezer. This lady has health problems and is undergoing more tests for a problem with her vision. She is unable to work and has received help from the local foodbank. Unfortunately, mum has no savings and her low income from Universal Credit means she is unable to save enough to replace her fridge and freezer. Having to buy fresh food daily for her family is very expensive and a replacement fridge freezer would make a huge difference.

Total needed £200This family has four children all aged under ten. Normally the family manage their finances as they budget well, but they don’t have any savings. Their benefits have changed from Tax Credits to Universal Credit, resulting in a backdated Council tax bill to be paid upfront and owing money for overpaid tax credits. The tax credits overpayment will be taken directly from their Universal Credit future payments, which means they will be getting less each month. These bills are causing the family lots of stress.
