Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Total needed £200This client is a single parent with three young children. Their property has issues with damp and mould, primarily in the storage areas. Mum is waiting for the council to deal with the issue, but fears the mould spores will cause her children's clothes to become mouldy and negatively effect their health. We have provided them with advice and two hydrometers to keep an eye on humidity levels. However, a dehumidifier will help keep the area free of mould so mum can store things safely.

Total needed £110This lady is a carer for her husband and they are making a fresh start. After living in very poor conditions, the council has now moved them into a more suitable home. However, they are struggling to furnish it and make it into a home suitable for their two very young children. Their most urgent priority is floor covering as none of the rooms have carpet or laminate. A carpet for the sitting room would be a great help for them.

Total needed £200This lovely lady and her husband find themselves in a large amount of rent arrears. They are very worried that they could find themselves in court and that this would impact their young family of three children, aged five, two and eleven months old.
