Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Total needed £200Grandma, who is on benefits, looks after her grandson for half of every week. Total needed £175This single lady, who is on benefits, has numerous health conditions. Her fridge freezer has broken and she is prioritising spending money on food instead of saving money for a fridge freezer. Due to the cost of living and storage, plus this lady's mobility affecting her getting to shops little and often, she would really benefit from a new fridge freezer to enable her to store food.

Total needed £80After fleeing domestic violence, A has been housed and is in need of a microwave oven as, at present, she only has a camp oven to cook on. Her teenage children also love to cook. The kitchen in the house is waiting for repairs and a microwave could be used in the living room, as it is portable. A is waiting for her benefits to be processed and cannot afford this item. The stress of everything is really showing as this family try to start a new life. Please can you help?
Still £100 left to donate
Total needed £100V, who has fled domestic violence and is expecting her seventh child, has been rehoused. She has managed to get most household items from charity shops and other charities, but has no income spare to buy a carry cot pram that converts into a pushchair, with a rain cover, as she is waiting for her benefits to be processed. This pregnancy was a shock; V thought she was sick because of all the stress and upheaval of being rehoused. She is very house proud and suffering from stress, due to the situation.

Total needed £200S was living in Young Men's Christian Association accommodation when she became ill, and has been in hospital for a few weeks. She has had to be moved to a complex with warden supervision, as her previous home was unsuitable, considering her now reduced mobility and increased care needs. Unfortunately, the property has no flooring and the occupational therapist has stated that non-slip flooring will make it safe for her. S only receives her pension so cannot cover the cost of this, therefore, she would really appreciate your support. Many thanks.

Total needed £200F is a refugee who recently received a council house after years of waiting on the Social Housing waiting list. The house is a blank canvas and she needs to carpet her home. This is a large cost, especially for someone receiving Universal Credit. The opportunity to carpet the house for free is a true lifeline, however, F needs support to pay the fee for a contractor to fit the carpets. The remaining cost of materials etc. is provided free of charge.

Total needed £200M, who is one of our Food Pantry members, has recently lost his job and is not eligible for benefits. He is the only one who is working to support his wife and two children. Now the whole family is struggling and M needs to pay the electricity and gas bill. We are helping with food, but the kids do not eat the food we can provide. When M met me, he was very upset about the situation because he just wants to work to provide for the family himself. Please would you donate generously towards this family who really need help? Thanks in advance.

Total needed £200F, who recently had a stroke and needed to stop working, is receiving sick pay which keeps reducing as the weeks go by. We have applied for Personal Independence Payment for him, but these applications take a long tome to be processed. In the meantime, F and his wife are struggling to make ends meet and she is working extra hours to try and cover their utilities, but feels she should really be at home looking after her husband. They would be so very grateful for any help.
