Mum has not seen any of the children since before Covid. Her Social Worker has referred her to us, as she is now being supported because of domestic violence from her partner. Mum is awaiting a mental health assessment, as she is desperately in need of help. To top it all, her washing machine has failed! Please can you help?

This individual is an asylum seeker who currently does not have any access to public funds. They are working part-time and struggling to pay for bills, expenses and food, as well as travel expenses. They have been offered a new flat which is much better and more economical. The client has already managed to save most of the deposit, but would be grateful for the remaining £200, which would help them with their fresh start.

They have now got a job and are slowly, but surely, managing to integrate into the local community after having to flee their own country, due to war. They have been offered a new flat, however, they are struggling to afford furniture to make their house a home. This support for couches would enable the client to finish furnishing their living room and finally be able to have a fresh start.

He receives some help from Meeting Point, but no laptops are available. He is desperate to prepare himself to use his vocation to work in the UK, if he receives leave to remain. Due to the very low benefit and cost of living this man cannot save for this item and asks for your help.

The Home Office moved him to Birmingham, where he got his residency, but decided to come back to Colchester. FR is homeless now and they have currently stopped his Universal Credit of £300.

They need a bed for their ten year old daughter and also one for themselves. Due to the cost of moving house, living in hotels since leaving North Wales, and the costs of the new house, bills etc., money is very tight and they are struggling to buy the beds so any support is greatly received.

This has meant that he has now missed some payments for his electricity and he is now in arrears, adding to his worries and further impacting his mental health.

An air fryer and microwave will at least ensure the children can have a hot meal every day.
