Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

S is a refugee from Iraq who moved to Birmingham this week. His Universal Credit payments have been stopped, due to an incomplete and overdue to-do list, so he currently has no income to support his daily living. S is deaf in one ear and hard of hearing in the other, which also makes life very difficult and, along with his lack of English language, he cannot find a job. Any donations would support his daily living costs, including kitchen utensils, an air fryer and food so he can cook meals for himself.
Still £180 left to donate
Total needed £180D has been living in shared/supported accommodation for many years, but has recently managed to secure full-time employment in the catering industry (he is a qualified chef). Due to living in supported accommodation, he can only work sixteen hours a week or he will be evicted. D has been able to obtain a one bedroom flat which he will move into on the 26th May. It is partially furnished, but does not have a bed or a wardrobe. Please could we request donations to obtain a bed, mattress and a wardrobe for him?
