Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
S, who is married with three children, has unfortunately broken his knee. He is off work and only receives Statutory Sick Pay which does not cover the household bills. Their fridge freezer has broken and, as they are unable to replace it, are having to buy fresh food everyday at a cost which they cannot afford. The family is finding it very difficult to ask for help, but has no option at this difficult time.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200V is a single mum of two children, aged six and seven, the youngest of whom has learning difficulties. Mum has just been diagnosed with stage four breast cancer and secondary cancer in the liver. She is struggling financially to afford food, as her benefits are not yet in place and she has just lost her job, due to illness and not being there long enough. V needs financial help to buy food for her and the children, and also top-up her gas and electric. Your support will make a huge difference.

Total needed £100Help is needed for a mum of three to replace her broken fridge freezer. This lady has health problems and is undergoing more tests for a problem with her vision. She is unable to work and has received help from the local foodbank. Unfortunately, mum has no savings and her low income from Universal Credit means she is unable to save enough to replace her fridge and freezer. Having to buy fresh food daily for her family is very expensive and a replacement fridge freezer would make a huge difference.
