Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
F, who recently had a stroke and needed to stop working, is receiving sick pay which keeps reducing as the weeks go by. We have applied for Personal Independence Payment for him, but these applications take a long tome to be processed. In the meantime, F and his wife are struggling to make ends meet and she is working extra hours to try and cover their utilities, but feels she should really be at home looking after her husband. They would be so very grateful for any help.
Still £150 left to donate
Total needed £150This family has four children all aged under ten. Normally the family manage their finances as they budget well, but they don’t have any savings. Their benefits have changed from Tax Credits to Universal Credit, resulting in a backdated Council tax bill to be paid upfront and owing money for overpaid tax credits. The tax credits overpayment will be taken directly from their Universal Credit future payments, which means they will be getting less each month. These bills are causing the family lots of stress.
